The emphasis is on the development of important cognitive skills such as creativity, social intelligence, adaptive thinking and understanding of different cultures. The focus is on correct pronunciation and intonation, expanding the vocabulary and avoiding frequent lexical errors. During the course, students work on two projects and one written assignment, which become part of their personal portfolio.

The focus for teenagers is on education, preparing for exams and developing professional skills needed for the future. Young people improve communication skills, including conducting interviews, public speaking and presentations, which is a key factor for success in further education and employment. We pay special attention to the acquisition of authentic pronunciation, correct accent and fluent speech.

At the C1 level, we offer a specialized course for young entrepreneurs, where students develop business skills through designing and prototyping their own company. The English language is used in market research, product and service design, as well as in the creation of a marketing strategy. The course ends with a project presentation and an interactive question-and-answer session led by an expert in the field of corporate education.

Working in teams, young people create an annual business plan, learning the key English communication skills necessary for meeting, negotiating and persuading—skills that are essential for success in today’s competitive business environment.

All our teachers are part of the large international IHWO language family, have extensive experience working around the world and specialize in teaching children of different ages.

All our teachers continuously improve their professional skills through regular attendance of specialized trainings and seminars throughout the year. Their work is evaluated on a monthly basis, which ensures a high and consistent quality of teaching.

The teachers of IH Belgrade are highly qualified experts, with Cambridge CELTA and DELTA certificates, as well as CELTYL certificate for teaching English to children. All of them received training in the field of “Wellbeing and safety” within the IH Belgrade school.

Studying with a foreign teacher from an early age allows children to acquire “natural” English in a real, fully English environment.
