English for adults

Our experienced foreign teachers focus on the development of English fluency (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and accuracy in its use (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation). All this takes place in a fully English environment and in compact study groups.

Regular general English language courses last 35 astronomical hours in 14 weeks. Each course is divided into two modules – A and B, which cover half of the given level, according to the Common European Framework.

Your progress during the English language course is checked with two exams – in the middle and at the end of the training. At the end, your foreign teacher will give you a detailed assessment of the results achieved and guidelines for continuing language learning. You also get an internationally recognized certificate from International House.

The course lasts 8 astronomical hours per month. It is monthly in nature and takes place throughout the year. We have groups for different levels of knowledge: from A2 beginner to B2 upper intermediate. Small groups (maximum 8 participants) enable optimal participation in the process.

Before registering for the course, you will have an oral interview with our qualified foreign lecturer.

At the end of the training, you will receive detailed feedback on your performance during the course, as well as tips and recommendations for further improving your language skills.

In conversation courses, emphasis is also placed on clarifying cultural aspects of the language and patterns of interaction in it. The differences between formal and informal communication styles and their characteristics are also clarified. You will enrich your vocabulary by learning and using idioms and synonyms.
